We’re nicely settled into 2024 now aren’t we? Our first market at the Christmas light switch on in November seems like a long time ago… And now we’re in February we can officially say our next market is next month!

We’re planning event markets on the last Saturday of the month and the last Saturday of March happens to be Easter weekend! Spring is very welcome, hopefully we’ll be blessed with good weather for visitors to peruse our stalls. And fingers crossed it will be warm enough to make the most of our outdoor seating and enjoy some street food/a drink from the bar/a beer from Powder Monkey/a coffee from Rosarios.

We have traders with delicious baked treats, and if you can’t treat yourself at Easter, when can you? I’m pretty sure calories don’t count at Easter?

After their debut at our Christmas market, we’re thrilled Pop-up Spray Studios are back with their creative spray painting activity for the whole family. We also have Glitz N Glow offering eco-friendly face and hair glitter. Young or old… why not add a little sparkle to your Easter weekend!

As well as shopping, food, drink and activities we’re also pleased to confirm we have a full entertainment line-up of local buskers. Enjoy the music, have a dance and show your appreciation by chucking some coins in their hat.

We’re still brand new but we’re confident that with the support of locals, our monthly event markets will grow and grow, and stretch further down the high street each time. Harking back to the good ‘ole days when the market was bustling.
